About the Festival

The Ganga Nritya Kala Mahotsav 2025 (Ganga Dance Arts Festival) is a grand cultural event organised by Bhartiya Sanskriti Foundation, Uttarakhand. It promotes cultural heritage — especially traditional Indian dance and music — and makes children aware of cultural programmes through music, dance, singing and instruments.

Thousands of artists performed together at the Ganga Ghat. Classical and folk dance, paired with mesmerising music, brought artists, dancers, musicians and culture enthusiasts from across India together.

Ganga Aarti

Thousands of dance and music artists simultaneously performed Ganga Aarti while showcasing their art — Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Mridangam, singing, Odissi and other artists.

High Range World Records attempt

The festival aimed to set a new world record for the largest number of artists performing together in one place, as an attempt for the prestigious High Range Book of World Records.
